Current Job Vacancies

Social Care Vacancies

We always want to hear from people who want to join our Adult and Children's Social Care teams. Please use our online form to let us know which roles you are interested in, and we'll let you know when a vacancy comes up.

Apprenticeships

An Apprenticeship is a real job with training, so you can earn while you learn and pick up a nationally recognised qualification. Click here to find out more

Elections and Canvassing

From time to time we need part-time help to support national or local elections or referendum. To find out more click here.

Work Experience and Volunteering

We know that finding your first role, or returning to work after a break, can be difficult. Work experience or volunteering can be an ideal way to refresh existing skills, develop in new areas, try out a new career path, and rebuild confidence. Many of our teams offer work experience opportunities.

Please use our online contact form to email us, explaining the type of areas you are interested in working in, and your dates of availability. We will then do our best to arrange a suitable placement that meets your needs. Depending on the role, you may be asked to meet with us informally before we confirm your placement so we can ensure you get the most from your time with us.

If you are organising a work experience placement as part of your studies, please check with your school, college or university to make sure all of their requirements are met by the placement.

If you are interested in volunteering opportunities, our Early Help team are looking. Click here to find out more.

If an opportunity in our Leisure, Culture, Arts and Heritage service interests you, please email libraries@rutland.gov.uk for information.
